Developed collaboratively by experienced mathematics educators, researchers, and game designers at the Learning Games Lab at New Mexico State University, the game benefits from a meticulous instructional design process. It incorporates comprehensive user testing and feedback from educators and learners alike, ensuring an effective learning experience.

Aligned with Common Core standards, Pearl Diver addresses key concepts related to the number line and properties of numbers, including:
